I'll admit it - as
a theatrical artist, I am no stranger to shameless self-promotion.
And what better place to do that than the World Wide Web? Want
to know about my activities onstage and backstage? Perhaps you know a theater
that might want to produce my original scripts like the hit comedies Bikini Beach Bloodsuckers, Santa Claus vs. the Martians and A Bollywood Lysistrata. Were
you amazed by Hong Kong movies Crouching Tiger and Hero? Wondering what all the buzz is about Bollywood?
Well, that's all here and more! Take a tour of AndiWorld below.
As 2011 winds down, I'm not slowing down. I kept busy doing this year sound design at Theatre Three and Uptown Players, while juggling my new full-time job as a high school theater teacher. I did my usual stint at the helm of Uptown Players' annual Broadway Our Way, which was another sell-out hit. And I still found time to get onstage, too, appearing in Millennium Opera's premiere production, the fairy tale opera Little Red, followed by co-directing, co-choreographing and performing in Level Ground Art's regional premiere of the hit musical Xanadu, which earned great reviews. Then I was back in the directing chair for 2 shows at Uptown Players Pride Festival, a revival of the hit comedy The Facts of Life: The Lost Episode and the festival hit The New Century. Next up is my high school's production of one of my most popular original scripts Bikini Beach Bloodsuckers.
